At Kahlon Law Office, we offer paid legal consultations to individuals and businesses seeking clear and informed legal advice on Canadian immigration, citizenship, and refugee matters. Our consultations are intended to provide general legal information and guidance to assist clients in understanding their legal position, available options under Canadian law, and the appropriate next steps based on their specific circumstances.
All consultations are provided for a fee and are offered by appointment only. The consultation fee is CAD $250.00 plus applicable HST and applies to both in-person consultations and virtual consultations conducted via Zoom. Each consultation is limited to a maximum duration of 45 minutes, has a limited scope, and is based on the information provided during the consultation. A consultation does not include preparation or submission of applications, correspondence with immigration authorities, or ongoing legal representation, unless a separate written retainer agreement is entered into between the client and the firm.
Payment of the consultation fee is required in advance in order to confirm the appointment. A government-issued photo identification may be requested at the time of the consultation. The consultation does not create an ongoing solicitor-client relationship beyond the consultation itself.
